I’ve been trying to hold off but I can’t stand it anymore! The same designer for A Crucible of Souls (Damonza.com) has come up with another great cover. There were three drafts, I immediately discarded two and we tinkered with the third.

The 2013 Aurealis Awards ceremony was on Saturday night, and as a finalist I went along. It was a great night, with some fantastic talent shortlisted for the awards. The highlight of the night was A Crucible of Souls winning the award for Best Fantasy Novel!!! I was shocked, but managed to mumble through an acceptance speech.

Congratulations to everyone, finalists and winners! And a special thanks to the judges and organisers for their hard work that made the awards possible.

The new revision of A Crucible of Souls is up! With maps! The print version will take a little while longer.
